This course attracts students interested in a range of topical and relevant issues both in education and society. The role of the educational professional is changing rapidly to fit the twenty first century and we have designed the degree for anyone with career interests in the broad field of education with children, young people or adults.

There are a range of assessments including essays, presentations, examinations, portfolios, reflective accounts, contributions to debates, and resource development. Assessments are designed where possible to allow students to consider current academic theories in a practical way while providing a pathway to a number of specialist vocations. They will also leave students with higher level academic skills which may be taken onto higher level academic courses or research programmes.
