Site Opening Times

Access to Holy Cross can be gained from 8am to 6.30pm on Monday, 8am to 9pm, Tuesday to Thursday and 8am to 6:30pm on Fridays.

All visitors and deliveries, before 4.30pm, must report to main Reception on arrival. After 4.30pm visitors are to report to the Evening Reception situated in the Mary Kelly building.

Site Security

Holy Cross operates a closed site policy, with access only allowed to Holy Cross staff, students and registered visitors. Access to buildings is via a comprehensive card system and staff and students are issued with their own swipe cards.

There are security guards on site throughout the day and site supervisors present at all times. A comprehensive CCTV system is in operation.

Holy Cross operates a text alert system for added staff and student security.

Parking

There is restricted parking on the Holy Cross site. Visitors can park as guests at Bury Sports Club, which is situated on Radcliffe Road.

Staff and students who regularly park at Bury Sports Club require permits to do so. Permits are available from the Estates department.

There is disabled parking available on site.

Residential Parking

Please be aware that a lot of streets in the areas surrounding Holy Cross are residential parking or two hour parking only. Please carefully check signs when parking.

Cycling to Holy Cross

Holy Cross has secure bike sheds on site and shower facilities should cyclists require them.

Arriving by Moped

There are a number of moped bays available on site. Anyone coming to college on a moped must register with Student Services.

Sports Hall Hire

The sports hall is available to hire from Monday to Thursday for any external interested groups.

All enquiries regarding availability and costs to be made to the Holy Cross Estates office.
