Brand new V levels (Digital) will be introduced from September 2027.
Learn how digital systems work, how data informs decisions and how digital solutions are designed to meet user needs with a V Level in Digital Systems and Data.
Build the knowledge, skills and understanding that can support progression to higher education, apprenticeships and future careers in digital fields.
Module 1: Prepare, analyse, interpret and present data from different sources to support conclusions and decision making – Data analysis, trends patterns and forecasting.
Module 2: Apply security protocols and interpret system information to detect and escalate cyber security concerns – Cyber security, hacking & prevention methods.
Module 3: Prepare, configure and assure readiness of digital systems to meet user needs – Testing, Automated Ai, System performance.
Module 4: Design and create a digital solution to meet defined user needs – Coding, scripting, designs and Ai.
This is a Level 3 V Level qualification (two-year course equivalent to one A Level).

Entry Requirements:
General College entry requirements.
Pass in L2 BTEC IT if studied.
Grade 4 in either GCSE English or Maths.
Great subjects to combine with this V Level: Business, Computer Science, Media Studies, Criminology, Mathematics, and English.
