Lancaster University invite Criminology and Sociology to an Immersive Student Experience

Students from the Criminology and Sociology department were invited to Lancaster University to take part in an immersive student experience. Lectures included: Criminology on drugs, crime and society by Dr Thaddeus Muller, an incredibly fascinating analysis of celebrities, such as Amy Winehouse, and their relationships with drugs. Sociology lecture was on the misuse of digital data collection and its impact on society by Dr Joe Deville.

Students where also given an insight into life as a Lancaster University student, with a video on the famous annual Roses Competition between Lancaster and York Universities, where sporting events replicate the Olympics/rugby/football World Cup all in one, with 100 fixtures over the weekend. The two institutions take turns to host, and everyone is welcome.
