Congratulations to our Bar Mock Trial Competition team who finished third out of 14 schools and colleges at the regional heats, held at Manchester Crown Court on 15th November.  
 
It's the third consecutive year Holy Cross has placed in the top three at this competition, which is run by Young Citizens. 
 
The competition helps young people aged 15-18 understand how the law touches every aspect of their lives, gaining an insight into how the legal justice system works. 
 
This result comes after weeks of preparation (alongside revising for mock exams) and saw the team present their cases in a real courtroom before real judges – a challenge which they handled brilliantly.
