Accountancy, Tax and Business Clinic at Bolton University

A fantastic session at the Accountancy, Tax and Business clinic in collaboration with Bolton University. Students engaged in real-life tax issues relating to income and capital gains tax. A visiting client from a local charity was seeking advice from accountants on improving the financial sustainability of the important charity work, our A level Accounting students offered professional advice on how the charity could reduce their deficit. Students also explored the area of tax, with links to accountancy professions, the experience provides invaluable experiential learning along with fostering future leaders in finance.
