Special Thanks

As ever, there is a huge list of thanks for the show but there are a few people I would like to highlight. Jen Camilleri and the Horse & Bamboo Theatre for their advice and support in the early stages of the project and as mentioned, a huge thank you to Gemma Bond for her brilliant conceptualising and creation of Oliver.

An enormous debt of thanks to Tom Ratcliffe for his set construction and incredible eye for detail; a forever indispensable member of our team. Next, to our Art and Design department, especially Kate Tod (Art Technician), Laura Watt and Neil Howarth for their immense support in set painting and decorating. This thanks extends to Mohammed Mahboob, a year 1 Graphics student who took the time to design our brilliant poster.

I also want to publicly thank the unsung heroes of the how, Kathryn and Laura from our Finance department, who quietly respond to and source all requests for any number of bizarre items through our Finance system. This thanks also extends to our Caretaking, Security and Cleaning Teams (particularly Ingrid, Julie, Holly and Jane) who make sure that the site is always ready and looking pristine for performance. I’d also like to thank Carol Hart for all of her support in co-ordinating teams to get the show on the stage.

As ever, Judi Shore, for her support with costumes and blue sky thinking and always being there for last minute alterations and to Darren Shore for help with props. And a special thanks to Sue Fairclough for her never-ending supply of
flapjacks and cinnamon buns!

Finally, to the Performing Arts team, Abbie, Charlotte, Dom, Lee and Slava who work tirelessly from September to plan, visualise, budget, choreograph, rehearse and produce the show. It really is a full team effort.
