Alison makes a ‘leap of love’ to raise £3,000 for Derian House

Congratulations to Holy Cross Administration Manager Alison Higginbotham who completed the highest skydive available in the UK – 15,000ft – alongside her good friend, Stuart.

They’d originally planned to complete the skydive on Mother’s Day at the end of March, but due to high winds, it was rearranged for Sunday 4^th May.

With online and offline donations plus Gift Aid, Alison’s ‘leap of love’ has so far raised almost £3,000 for Derian House Children’s Hospice in Chorley.

2024-25 is our Year of Compassion here at College, and Alison's fundraising skydive is the perfect embodiment of this – well done!
