Congratulations to Eleanor, Peter and Pritika for representing Holy Cross in the annual Catenian Public Speaking Competition. Pritika was praised for a well-thought-out speech on whether laws were made to be broken. The judges said Peter had opened them up to a new line of thought on the matter of tackling the Climate Crisis. While Eleanor’s speech on the power of oratory, awarded second place, was described as emotionally intelligent, sharing a human element that was sincere and genuine.
