Donation Stations open across College for Marie Thérèse Day

We are collecting donations of food and essential items across College until Thursday 12th February as part of our Marie Thérèse Day celebrations. 

We mark Marie Thérèse Day on 21st January every year, in recognition of the founders of the religious order, ‘Daughters of the Cross’ – Jeanne Haze and her sister Ferdinande. 

All donated items will be distributed to local charities to help those most in need across our local community.  

We are looking for donations of: 

  • Tinned food (eg tuna, beans, vegetables, soup) 

  • Packet food (eg noodles, rice, pasta, crisps, snacks) 

  • Store cupboard essentials (eg teabags, coffee, sugar) 

  • Household cleaning products 

  • Baby care items (eg nappies, wipes, baby toiletries) 

  • General toiletries (eg deodorant, sanitary products, toothpaste, hand soap, shower gel) 

Where the Donation Stations are: 

  • Library 

  • Student Services 

  • RE Office 

  • RE Rooms 

  • Chaplaincy 

  • University Centre 

  • IT4 

  • Learning Support 

  • Main Reception
