Holy Cross students’ beautiful encounter with the relics of St Carlo Acutis

On Friday 30th January, our students Toni, Foluke, Michelle, Isabel and Alesha from Year One, accompanied by our Lay Chaplain Kelly Needham and Head of RE Bec Hyndman, visited St Patrick’s Church in Collyhurst for the Veneration of the relics of St Carlo Acutis.
The morning was filled with awe, wonder and excitement. It truly felt like we were part of something very special and sacred along with other schools and colleges from across the Salford Diocese.
We are deeply grateful to the Salford Diocese Department of Education for the warm welcome, the prayerful liturgy, and for providing a moment in time that will stay with us forever.
