Students Celebrated at 'Skills 4 Living' Awards Ceremony

8th May 2026

Building Confidence, Resilience and Real-World Skills

A group of our Level 2 students have been recognised for their outstanding progress after completing the Skills 4 Living framework – an innovative programme designed to support personal development, wellbeing and essential life skills.

Developed by Higher Health UK, the programme focuses on building key skills such as communication, empathy, teamwork, problem-solving and resilience.

Through a blend of interactive learning and real-world application, students are supported to develop the confidence and independence needed to succeed in education, employment and everyday life.

In recognition of their achievements, a selection of our students were invited to attend the annual Skills 4 Living awards ceremony, which celebrates learners from across Greater Manchester who have demonstrated exceptional progress and commitment.

At the event, students were presented with their certificates by the Deputy Mayor of Manchester, Kate Green, marking a proud and memorable occasion.

Two of our students, Vanessa and Precious, were also invited to speak, sharing their personal experiences of the programme.

They spoke confidently about how the course has helped them grow, highlighting improvements in their confidence, communication skills, and ability to make positive life choices.

Their contributions were inspiring and showcased the real impact of the programme in helping young people become more connected, capable and active citizens.

We are incredibly proud of all our students and their achievements, and we look forward to seeing them continue to thrive in the future.
