Hosting the Lenten Station Mass for the Saint Thérèse of Lisieux Deanery

16th Mar 2026

We were honoured to host the second Lenten Station Mass for the Saint Thérèse of Lisieux Deanery in our beautiful College Chapel earlier this month.

It was a truly uplifting evening as parishioners from across the deanery gathered with their parish and retired priests to share in prayer during this special and reflective season of Lent.

A Community United in Prayer

The celebration was a wonderful expression of faith and community. Welcoming guests from across the deanery created a real sense of togetherness, as familiar faces and new ones came together to participate in this meaningful tradition.

Students Taking a Leading Role

Our Prayer and Liturgy Team played a significant role throughout the Mass. Our students:

  • Proclaimed the Scripture readings
  • Wrote and shared the Prayers of the Faithful
  • Served with reverence on the altar

Their dedication, confidence, and service were deeply appreciated by all who attended.

Shared Fellowship After Mass

Following the celebration, refreshments were available in the chapel foyer. This provided a lovely opportunity for parishioners, clergy, and members of our College community to socialise, reconnect, and enjoy time together in fellowship.

A Sincere Thank You

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Father James Manock, Rural Dean and Parish Priest of Saint Vincent de Paul in Norden, for inviting us to host this year’s Station Mass.

We are also grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to making the evening such a prayerful, warm, and meaningful celebration.
