Volunteers from the charity came to college to give all those aged 16–30 the opportunity to join the stem cell register.
The visit built on the powerful messages shared during earlier talks from the charity in our Core RE sessions, where students learned about the importance of stem cell donation and how young people are especially needed on the register.

The response from our student community was fantastic.
Around 50 students completed a swab and signed up to the register – a huge increase compared to the charity’s previous visit.
By taking just a few minutes to take a swab, our students have potentially given someone else the chance of a future.
A powerful reminder that small actions really can make a life‑saving difference.
