At Holy Cross College we are committed to supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of all our students.
We have a variety of support available which can be accessed at any time throughout a student's college journey.
All students can access our Wellbeing service, which offers 1:1 support usually within a meeting once a week.
It’s tailored to your individual needs and focuses around forming good habits and developing healthy coping strategies. It also offers a safe space for students to offload anything that’s negatively impacting them.
You may also be signposted to relevant external support services and can also be referred to our Counselling service if that’s more appropriate.

Where should you go for wellbeing support?
Any students looking for any form of wellbeing support can either ask their Progress Tutor for a referral or contact the Wellbeing Service directly.
You can also find lots of self-help resources on the Holy Cross Welcome Hub (previously Moodle).
Maybe you’d like to speak to someone who’s going through something similar or is a similar age/in a similar situation as you as a college student.
Student mentors
Our wellbeing mentor team is made up of second year (Upper Sixth) students who provide 1:1 peer mentoring and volunteer at key events throughout the year.
Ask your Progress Tutor/Wellbeing Officer for a referral or leave a note in the purple box at Student Services.

Professionally-trained staff monitor the community to ensure the safety and anonymity of all members.
In addition to Togetherall's online community, you will have access to a wealth of useful resources and can work through tailored self-help courses covering topics such as anxiety, sleep, weight management, depression and many more.
